Catering for A Medieval Banquet

If your venue does not supply a suitable Medieval catering service, we have a range of menu suggestion to suit your budget. By their nature, medieval banquets are rustic affairs, and this should be reflected in your menu choice.

Pea and bacon broth (served in a earthen-ware bowl)

Whole hog roasted on a wood burning spit, served with apple sauce and crackling
Whole Chicken roasted with a selection of herbs
Whole Salmon poached in a light bouillon served on a bed of crisp lettuce and dressed with lemon and cucumber
Slices of cold roast turkey served with a cranberry jelly
Served with baked potatoes and roasted root vegetables
All served on a silver platter in the centre of the table
All guests eat off an earthen-ware plate with a metal dagger and fork
